So how do I fare against an SRT-8?
Pretty fooking well! lol.
Coming back from the new Abu Dhabi beach (well, coming from looking for a parking space... which I didnt find) we ran into a guy in a Magnum SRT-8, an import, since these arent sold here, messing with a kid in a while SXT with a really ugly body kit.
An SXT is a 3.5 liter 6 pack with something sad like 250hp.
Anyways. We got to a light, the light right before you go over that new bridge past the Sharaton in TCA. He can tell mine's an R/T and is way too happy to be racing me. starts revving his hige 6/1 liter... inching closer to the line. as do I.
The light turns green and we both floor 'em, and both spin like hell. by 2nd gear I was 2 cars ahead. he was not happy. My 2 cousins in the car with me are like WOAH!
He came up next to us and waved and gave us the thumbs up. He had a smile on his face, as did I.
So yeah, we can take an SRT-8 off the line... though I doubt I could from say a 120 km roll. Great though. Very very cool.
